Why these two specs matter outdoors

  • C4 covers industrial atmospheres. The standard grade is specified for industrial exposure.
  • C5 for coastal and marine sites. Choose the higher grade where salt-laden air is a factor.

C4 is the standard for a reason — but not for every site. Coastal, offshore-adjacent and heavy-industry locations should be specified as C5 marine grade at ordering.
